Difference between ADO and ADO.NET -
ADO-
1. ADO COM library पर based है।
2. ADO Binary format में data store करता है।
3. ADO में client side application को create किया जाता है
4. ADO XML के साथ integrated नही हो सकता है।
5. ADO record set of data को provide करता है।
6. ADO connection oriented होता है।
7. ADO में data को single table में represent करता है।
8. ADO द्वारा single connection instance में multiple transaction को handle नही किया जा सकता है।
ADO.NET -
1. ADO.NET CLR library पर based है।
2. ADO.NET XML form में data store करता है।
3. इसमें client side तथा server side application create कर सकते हैं।
4. ADO.NET XML के साथ integrated हो सकता है।
5. ADO.NET data set तथा data adaptor provide करता है।
6. यह connection oriented नही होता है।
7. ADO.NET में data को row of collection में represent किया जाता है।
8. ADO.NET द्वारा single connection instance में multiple transaction को handle किया जा सकता है।
